EOS® Implementation Questions
Can I implement EOS® myself with MeetingTango?
Absolutely! MeetingTango is designed for DIY implementation. We provide step-by-step guides, video tutorials, template libraries, and implementation checklists to help you implement EOS® successfully without expensive consultants.
How long does it take to implement EOS® with MeetingTango?
Most companies start seeing improvements within 90 days. The timeline typically includes:
- Week 1-4: Set up core tools and begin weekly meetings
- Month 2-3: Establish rhythm and start seeing alignment
- Month 3-6: Significant improvements in focus and execution
- Month 6+: Sustained growth and team performance
What if I'm not sure where to start?
Start with our EOS® assessment, which will help you understand your current state and identify your biggest opportunities. Then begin with the tool that addresses your most pressing need - often the Vision/Traction Organizer™ (V/TO™) or Level 10 Meetings™.
Do I need to implement all six EOS® components at once?
No! It's better to start with one or two components and master them before adding more. Most companies start with the V/TO™ and Level 10 Meetings™, then gradually add Scorecards, Rocks, Issues Lists, and other tools.

Level 10 Meetings™ Questions
What is a Level 10 Meeting™?
A Level 10 Meeting™ is a structured, 90-minute weekly meeting that follows a proven agenda designed to keep your leadership team aligned, accountable, and focused on what matters most. The "Level 10" refers to the rating system used to evaluate meeting effectiveness.
How do I run my first Level 10 Meeting™?
- Schedule 90 minutes at the same time every week
- Invite your leadership team
- Use our meeting template and timer
- Follow the agenda: Segue (5 min), Scorecard (5 min), Rocks (10 min), Headlines (5 min), Issues (60 min), Conclude (5 min)
- Rate the meeting at the end
What if my meetings aren't reaching Level 10?
This is normal! Most teams start at Level 5-7 and improve over time. Focus on sticking to the structure, respecting time limits, and solving your most important issues. The rating system helps you identify what to improve.
Can I customize the Level 10 Meeting™ structure?
While we recommend following the proven structure, you can adjust time allocations based on your needs. The key is maintaining the rhythm and ensuring all agenda items are covered.
Scorecard Questions
How many metrics should I have on my Scorecard?
Aim for 5-15 metrics that truly matter to your business. Too many metrics create noise and confusion. Focus on the key drivers that impact your success.
What metrics should I start with?
Common starting metrics include:
- Revenue
- New customers
- Customer satisfaction
- Employee retention
- Cash flow
Choose metrics that directly impact your business success and that you can measure weekly.
How often should I review my Scorecard?
Review your Scorecard weekly as part of your Level 10 Meeting™. This gives you a regular pulse on your business and helps you catch problems early.
What if my metrics are consistently off track?
If your metrics are consistently off track, you likely have systemic issues that need to be addressed. Use your Issues List to identify and solve the root causes.
Rocks Questions
What are Rocks?
Rocks are your 90-day priorities—the 3-7 most important things you need to accomplish in the next quarter to move your business forward. They're called "Rocks" because they're the big, important items that deserve your focus and attention.
How many Rocks should I have?
Aim for 3-7 Rocks per quarter. Having too many Rocks means none get proper attention. Focus on the few things that will have the biggest impact.
How do I write a good Rock?
A good Rock should be:
- Specific - Clear, measurable outcome
- Time-bound - Completed by the end of the quarter
- Owned - Assigned to a specific person
- Aligned - Connected to your vision and goals
Example: "Launch new product with 50 beta customers by March 31st"
What if I can't complete a Rock?
If you can't complete a Rock, assess why:
- Was it too ambitious?
- Did you encounter unexpected obstacles?
- Did priorities change?
Learn from the experience and adjust your approach for the next quarter.
People Analyzer™ Questions
What is the People Analyzer™?
The People Analyzer™ is a tool that helps you evaluate whether someone is the right person for their role. It consists of two parts: Core Values (which everyone must have) and GWC™ (Gets It, Wants It, Capacity).
How do I use the People Analyzer™?
- Define your core values (3-7 behavioral principles)
- Create clear role descriptions
- Evaluate each person on values and GWC™
- Make decisions: right person/right seat, right person/wrong seat, or wrong person
What if someone doesn't demonstrate all core values?
If someone doesn't demonstrate all core values, they're a "wrong person" regardless of their role. Core values are non-negotiable - everyone must live them consistently.
How often should I use the People Analyzer™?
Use the People Analyzer™ quarterly to assess your team. People and roles change over time, so regular evaluation ensures you maintain the right people in the right seats.
